The user acknowledges being informed that Yassir collects certain personal data concerning them, which is subject to appropriate processing in compliance with the provisions of laws regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data in the eligible countries listed below:

1. Definition and nature of personal data
When you use our website and/or the Yassir application, we may ask you to provide us with personal data concerning you.
The term "personal data" encompasses all information relating to a user who is identifiable, directly or indirectly, as defined by applicable legislation.
The terms "Users," "E-consumers," and "Service Providers" refer to any person using Yassir's websites and/or applications.
The terms "Yassir", "we", "our", and "ours" refer to the data controller.
Yassir is committed to preserving data confidentiality and protecting the data entrusted to it. In accordance with its fundamental obligations, Yassir undertakes to implement an adequate level of protection for the personal data collected online from users.
In general, Yassir only collects personal data voluntarily provided by users of our applications and/or websites in order to enable them to benefit from all available services.
Each user is encouraged to consult this online data privacy statement to learn more about how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal data obtained from you.
This Privacy Policy applies to all Yassir users in the eligible countries listed above, unless they are using a service covered by a separate privacy statement.

Yassir collects this data when users create or update their accounts. It may include: name, email address, phone number, login ID, and password.
2. Location data
Yassir collects precise or approximate location data from e-consumers' mobile devices, provided they authorize this collection in their device settings. Location data is used:
From the time a ride is ordered until it is completed.
After the race, for verification.
After the race, for safety reasons.
3. Trip data
Yassir collects information regarding the use of the services, including:
The type of service provided.
Trip details: date and time, pickup and drop-off addresses, distance traveled.
Information regarding payment transactions: transaction amount and payment method used.
4. Device-related data
Yassir also collects information about the devices used to access the services, such as: device model, IP address or other unique identifier, operating system and version, installed software, and display language.

5. Purpose of the collection of personal data
Yassir commits to using your data solely within the scope of the services offered on the Yassir application and/or website, including:
Manage your access to the services available on the Yassir website and applications, as well as your use of them,
Carry out operations related to customer management, such as contracts, orders, deliveries, invoices, loyalty programs, and customer relationship monitoring,
Compile a file of registered members,
Sending newsletters, solicitations, and promotional messages, with the option to opt out of these communications at any time,
Compile sales and service usage statistics,
Manage user reviews of products, services, or content,
Manage outstanding payments and any disputes related to the use of the service,
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations,
Generate marketing and advertising services, including sending emails, SMS, push notifications, and other promotional or advertising communications regarding Yassir’s products, services, features, offers, promotions, news, and events,
Provide user support and supply information on estimated arrival times and trip tracking to facilitate user pickup.
Responding to user requests (such as contact requests), unless we obtain their prior consent, or unless permitted or required by law or professional standards.
Personalize the user experience when the user provides preference information,
If you sign up or log in via a third-party single sign-on service, we may identify you as a single user across all the devices you use, in order to personalize your experience across all Yassir applications and/or websites.
When collecting your personal data, we will inform you whether certain data is mandatory or optional, as well as the potential consequences of a failure to provide it.
6. Sharing data with other users
1. e-consumer / delivery recipient
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle, photo, settings and preferences, location (before and during the trip), and total number of trips.
This information is shared solely to provide the requested service.
2. Restaurants / merchants
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle information, profile photo, location before pickup, and location during delivery (Yassir).
This information is shared for the purpose of carrying out deliveries and calculating referral earnings.
3. Client companies
The following data may be shared: account, first name, rating, vehicle information, profile photo, location.
This information is shared during errands or deliveries for a client company.
7. Legal bases for processing
In general, Yassir collects only the personal data necessary to carry out the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In the context of processing your personal data for the purposes described in Article 5, we will rely on one of the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract: when the processing of your personal information is necessary to fulfill our obligations under a contract to which you are a party.
Legal obligation: when we are required to process your personal data to comply with a legal obligation, such as for archiving purposes to meet our tax obligations, or for disclosing information to a public body or law enforcement authority.
Legitimate interests: we will process your personal data if it is in our legitimate interest to do so, in order to effectively manage our business operations in accordance with the law, and provided that this interest does not override your own interests.
Your consent: in certain cases, we will ask for your specific authorization to process certain personal information, and we will process it solely for the purposes to which you have consented.
8. Recipients of the collected data
Our company's personnel, as well as our data processing subcontractors (where applicable), may have access to your data for the purposes set out in Article 5 of this policy.
Yassir’s partners, in the context of any marketing initiatives, co-branding, or activities aimed at rewarding the user, such as prize draw selections. In such cases, Yassir will ensure you are informed in order to obtain your consent.
Public bodies may also be recipients of your personal data, exclusively for the purpose of complying with our legal obligations.
9. Transfer of data abroad
Certain personal data may be transferred to affiliates, partners, or suppliers located outside Algeria to ensure the provision, improvement, and security of our services, as well as compliance with legal obligations. Such transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards in accordance with the personal data protection laws of each relevant country. For certain sensitive data, your explicit consent may be requested prior to the transfer. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, objection, and deletion at any time.
10. Retention period for personal data
Yassir retains users' personal data only for the period strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
10.1. Management of the user account and the business relationship:
- Active account data: retained for the duration of the use of our services, then deleted or permanently anonymized after a period of five (5) years following the deletion request.
- Commercial prospecting data: retained for a maximum period of three (3) years from the end of the business relationship or the last active contact initiated by the user.
- Billing and transaction data: retained for a period of ten (10) years in order to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
10.2. Audience measurement statistics and trackers:
Information stored on users' devices (cookies and technical identifiers) is retained for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months. Associated traffic data and raw statistics are not retained beyond twenty-five (25) months.
10.3. Fraud prevention, security, and dispute management:
- Fraud prevention and detection: Data strictly necessary for securing accounts and preventing fraudulent behavior are retained for a period of three (3) to five (5) years from the date of their recording or the closing of the account.
- Investigations and legal proceedings: In the event of a report, confirmed incident, dispute, pending claim, or investigation (whether internal or conducted by competent judicial or administrative authorities), the necessary data are retained for the duration of the proceedings or investigation and until the final expiration of applicable legal remedies. During this period, the data are subject to secure intermediate archiving, with access strictly restricted to authorized personnel only (legal, compliance, security).
10.4. Account deletion requests:
Users may exercise their right to have their account deleted at any time. However, Yassir retains the necessary data in restricted archives when required by law or when essential to establish proof of a right or to defend its interests in legal proceedings.
11. Safety
We take all necessary precautions and appropriate organizational and technical measures to safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal data, and in particular to prevent it from being distorted or damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
In the event of unauthorized access to, damage to, and/or loss of your data, Yassir commits to informing you and taking the necessary steps to investigate and remedy the situation.
12. Cookies
Cookies are text files, often encrypted, stored in your browser. They are created when a user's browser loads a specific website: the site sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same site, the browser retrieves this file and sends it to the website's server.
Two types of cookies can be distinguished, serving different purposes: technical cookies and advertising cookies:
- Technical cookies are used throughout your browsing session to facilitate navigation and perform specific functions. For example, a technical cookie may be used to remember responses entered in a form or user preferences regarding language or website layout, where such options are available.

We do not use advertising cookies. However, should we use them in the future, we would inform you in advance, and you would have the option to disable them.
We use—or may use—Google Analytics, an audience analysis tool that generates a cookie to measure the number of site visits, page views, and visitor activity. Your IP address is also collected to determine the city from which you are connecting.
For your information, please note that you can object to the placement of cookies by configuring your browser settings. However, doing so may prevent the site from functioning correctly.
13. Integration of analytics and feedback collection tools into the application
As part of our commitment to providing an optimal experience for our users, the Yassir Super App incorporates advanced technological tools into its Android and iOS versions to analyze usage patterns and gather user feedback.
13.1 Integrated tools
Solutions that may be used include, by way of illustration:
In-app survey tools that enable the launch of contextual polls to better understand user expectations and sentiments;
Behavioral analytics solutions, notably enabling the anonymized recording of user sessions and the visualization of user journeys via heatmaps.
These tools are deployed in compliance with the principles of confidentiality and data minimization.
13.2 Objectives of the processing operations
The data collected through these mechanisms aim to:
Gather qualitative feedback in real time;
Identify the priority needs expressed by users;
Identify friction points or areas for improvement in the user experience;
Adapt the application's user journeys and features based on actual usage;
Guide decisions regarding the functional evolution of the product.
13.3 Purposes of processing
The processing operations carried out are based on specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, such as:
Continuous improvement of the user experience and interface usability; optimization of the features offered within the application;
The periodic launch of integrated surveys aimed at gathering user feedback to guide product developments.
14. Consent
When you choose to provide your personal data, you expressly consent to Yassir collecting and using it in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
You expressly consent to the company transmitting this information to its subcontractors—particularly regarding the signing of your electronic contract, which takes place via secure online platforms; users are advised to consult the relevant General Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
When creating your profile on the Yassir applications, you expressly consent to the company transmitting your phone number to one of its suppliers.
You expressly consent to receive notifications of any kind (alerts, SMS, emails), as well as communications via any messaging application and/or platform linked to your phone number (WhatsApp, Viber, etc.), from the Yassir application.

15. User rights
15.1 Right of access, rectification, objection, and deletion regarding your personal data: We inform you that you have the right to obtain access to and, where applicable, the rectification or deletion of data concerning you by contacting: dpo@yassir.com .
It is recalled that any person may, on legitimate grounds, object to the processing of data concerning them.
15.2 Right to lodge a complaint: The user is informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the regulatory authority regarding any breach in the processing of personal data, in accordance with the regulations of the eligible countries listed in the preamble. However, the user is encouraged to contact us first before filing a complaint with the data protection authority.
16. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this charter without prejudice to the laws applicable in each of the eligible countries cited in the preamble.
These changes will take effect upon publication of the new policy. Your use of the website and/or applications following the entry into force of these changes will constitute acknowledgment and acceptance of the new policy. If you do not agree to the new policy, you must cease accessing the site and/or website.
17. Entry into force
This policy came into effect on the date of its publication on the Yassir application and/or website.
